Julie Flood- September & October Featured Artist - Wednesday, September 2, 2009
20-something stay-at-home mom turned portrait photographer -- that's Julie Flood in a nutshell. The birth of her 11.6 lb baby girl (no, that is not a typo) prompted Julie to document her daughter's every move with the camera. With a little help from some friends, some photography classes, and lots of practice, Julie Flood Photography was born. Julie specializes in baby and children portraiture, as well as family, couples, and boudoir-style portraits. Mrs. Flood is a native Oregonian and enjoys spending her free time with family and friends. She is also a recent recruit of CrossFit and LOVES it (thanks to Shawn!) Julie adores the Blazers, shoes, and Laffy Taffy jokes... she is not a fan of laundry, however. To book a session, or to see more, please visit www.juliefloodphotography.com.
Featured Artist for July & August: Rachel Marie Thompson - Wednesday, August 26, 2009

She was raised in Washington's Skagit Valley and currently resides in Chehalis, Washington. Now at 28, she paints on a daily basis and will be attending Centralia College this winter. All of Rachel's canvas paintings are also available in prints.

Now Featuring Renee Mallison - Wednesday, March 25, 2009
Renee grew up taking special notice of all the things in life that inspired her. She wrote them down or took a picture to try and capture the memory. She started painting 18 months ago as a way to capture that inspiration more fully and to take it with her. Her deepest hope is that people viewing her paintings will find inspiration as well. Renee was lucky enough to grow up in the northwest and she's always been surrounded by the beauty of the west coast. She studied communications and loves to people watch. Renee is married to her first and only love, Jay. She hopes to study art in the future and to perfect her skill, but we at Ritual, think it's already pretty amazing!
Stay tuned for more information. We will be having an open house for you to view Renee's art on April 23rd at 6:30pm. Please email or call us to RSVP. 503.533.9785 ritualhairdesign@aol.com
New Artist at Ritual - Jenn Edgar - Tuesday, November 4, 2008
Jenn Edgar - Raw Life Photography
I wouldn't ever call myself a professional photographer, but rather, someone who likes to capture life "as-is" without digital enhancement or alteration. I look for the dirty, unnoticed , and obscure, and capture them on film to show the rest of the world. There is a facet of beauty in everything.
I am an Oregon native who's bounced between Salem, Corvallis and Portland, but currently am a resident of Orenco. I teach English and Health at an alternative high school in Newberg, enjoy working out, and spending time with my family, friends, and my two cats, Sebastian and Mr. Pants.
Jenn's photography will be on display at Ritual during the months of November and December. Feel free to stop by and check it out or you can visit her complete collection of photography at: www.rawlifephoto.com.
New Artist At Ritual- Sean Moran - Tuesday, September 16, 2008
One of my earliest memories is taking my brother's Big Wheel to the top of a steep hill at the end of my street when I was too young and hauling some serious ass down. Absolute nirvana. That's when my art of bliss began. When I create, I am back behind the wheel and new worlds open up. I am documenting the ride. Sean Moran's art will be at Ritual for the months of September and October. You can also view his work at www.artofbliss.com
